Lohagara Fisheries Office has adopted various plans for the development of fishery resources of Lohagara Upazila.

1. To increase the fish production of the district.

2. Making every effort to produce safe fish

3. To increase public awareness about fish farming

4. Implementation of fisheries law with the help of upazila administration to protect fishery resources.

5. Food testing and implementation of laws to maintain quality and supply of fish food

6. Increasing fish production in upazila reservoirs in a healthy way through better fishing methods.
